I am Jun-Yi, a coffee-drinking, humour-loving graphic designer with fourteen years of industry experience in Europe and Asia. I am meticulous about my work, and value good relationships with my clients. Find out more below.
My Story
Design is researched mixed with imagination.

I started my freelance career in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, after working in advertising, design, and publishing. In 2010, I moved to The Netherlands to be with my husband and worked in an agency in Amsterdam for 3 years. I then returned to freelancing, and in early 2016, we moved back to Kuala Lumpur to start a family. In 2020, we moved and settled down in Hoorn back in The Netherlands to raise our two girls. I am currently creating illustrations and vectors, and take on the occasional brief for larger clients.

Websites are a 24/7 promotional tool. When designing a website, I always ensure that the user experience is smooth and enjoyable. Some of the industries I've designed in include Food & Beverage, NGOs, and Education.
Branding

I create brand identities, and also execute designs based on existing brand guidelines. Some of the work I've created for international brands include 3M and KPN.
Print Design

All kinds of printed materials fall under this category, and each design is carefully planned and executed, always with the customer in mind. Some of the work I've designed in this category include menus, brochures, and large-scale banners.
Packaging

Good packaging has to attract attention and provide information clearly. I create designs for on boxes, bags, and other labels. Some of the industries I've designed for are food and beverage, and luxury goods.
Editorial Design

I worked in a publishing company on magazines and newspapers, and developed a love for layout design. Some of the publications I've worked on are for Marie Claire and the Dutch Rail (NS).
Illustration
